Elderly Care Provider

Frank's family is seeking a compassionate and reliable elder care provider in Fargo, North Dakota. We are looking for someone who can assist with both personal care and companionship to enhance our loved one’s quality of life. Frank is 70 years age and now entering his first decade of elderly life and experiencing a significant health challenge due to intense chronic low back pain from many dedicated years of hard work and outdoors hobbies plus he is also suffering from overall increase in physical chronic pain in limbs and joints including painful neuropathy in legs and feet resulting in overall bodily pain fatigue which is also causing periods of sleepless stress and anxiety resulting in mild depression from reduced ability to perform well at work and to enjoy lifelong outdoors hobbies demanding excellent physical health.

Frank is also sometimes prone to debilitating leg and limb cramps that sometimes may leave him helplessly prostate on the floor or ground in agony in excruciating pain that is terrifying and difficult to alleviate. Frank also is at times in a state of lightheaded unbalance especially when getting up and down from laying down resting and prolonged sitting and is in danger of falling and at that time is in need of a personal caregiver to provide support to help prevent falling.

Frank is also dealing with managing newly emerging health issues of high blood pressure and occasional respiratory difficulties that could potentially lead to a serious life risk event making it important to have a trusted caregiver available in the event of an immediate need for a first responder. Frank is very mild mannered of even keel temperament. Very thoughtful and kind to others.

Frank is of Italian American descent, Christian Catholic in faith. An outstanding college student. Professionally trained as a science lab technician and has recently retired 5 years ago from a long science career. Frank has been working the last five years full time /part time as a nutritional kitchen chef assistant for a prominent local senior health care company. Frank would like to remain employed at least part time indefinitely.

Frank has held an exemplary perfectly clean record his entire life regarding all aspects of a personal background check. He has completed his request for a new background check clearance by Eldercare..... and has also completed his government issued . This position can be either live-in or live-out, based on your availability and preference and cost. We offer part-time hours, making this a flexible opportunity for the right individual.

As a companion, you will engage our loved one Frank in meaningful activities and provide support with daily tasks. Your responsibilities may include meal preparation, light housekeeping, and assistance with personal care routines. Including participation in pleasant personal conversation and healthy wholesome activities. Frank prefers someone who will provide compassionate care to his daily activities in a loving joyful understanding manner.

Frank's time need for trusted reliable personal care is primarily for his weekends off work from his employer with the option of adding more days or hours as needed. The hourly pay for this position is $20.
