Job Description & How to Apply Below
Total Balance Physical Therapy & Fitness is not a typical outpatient clinic—we are a performance-driven, therapist-owned organization built around impact, growth, and leadership. We exist to serve our community at a high level by bridging the gap between rehabilitation and wellness. We are building a team of clinicians who are not just treating patients, but elevating the standard of care and representing the profession with purpose.
This role is for individuals who want more than a job. It is for those who want to grow, lead, and make a measurable impact.
- Take ownership of their outcomes, schedule, and patient experience
- Are hungry to learn, coachable, and committed to continuous improvement
- Lead from their position regardless of title
- Thrive in a structured, high-expectation environment
- Want to be part of something bigger than themselves—serving both patients and the community
This is not a “sink or swim” environment. It is a structured, high-performance growth environment where:
- Mentorship is intentional and consistent
- Expectations are clear
- Performance is tracked objectively
- Growth is measured and greatly rewarded
At Total Balance, high performance is the standard. We expect:
- Ownership – You take responsibility for patient outcomes, your schedule, and your growth
- Efficiency – You manage time, documentation, and patient flow at a high level
- Professional Maturity – You communicate clearly, handle challenges directly, and elevate those around you
- Commitment to Growth – You actively seek feedback and apply it
- Exceptional Outcomes – You deliver results that matter to patients
- Representation – You represent Total Balance and the profession exceptionally, both inside and outside the clinic
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions
- Apply strong clinical reasoning to manage straightforward and complex cases
- Build individualized, outcome-driven plans of care
- Educate and empower patients toward long-term health and performance
- Contribute to a culture of accountability, growth, and team success
- Preferred: 2+ years in an orthopedic setting with broad clinical exposure
- New graduates:
Encouraged to apply if you demonstrate initiative, discipline, and a strong growth mindset
- Doctorate or degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in North Dakota and Minnesota
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to operate independently while contributing to a high-performing team
- Proven or demonstrated commitment to growth, learning, and leadership
- A structured mentorship and development system
- A team environment built on accountability and support
- A dynamic clinical setting with diverse challenges and growth opportunities
- Competitive compensation aligned with performance and growth
- 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision
- 401(k) with company match up to 6%
- Paid time off and holidays
- Continuing education and professional development support
- Accelerate your clinical and professional development
- Develop leadership skills early in your career
- Make a real impact in the Fargo community
- Be part of a team that is actively raising the standard of care
