Room Attendant / Hotel Housekeeper
S&L Hospitality is currently accepting applications for a Room Attendant / Hotel Housekeeper for this location. Ideal candidates will be able to work primarily 1st shift, preferably between the hours of 8am and 5pm and have weekend availability, prior relative experience, highly-motivated, reliable, detail oriented, and a passion for working with people.
Responsibilities- Replenish items in rooms for guest use, including but not limited to towels, linens, and amenities. Accommodate and anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and professionally.
- Thoroughly clean the guest room and bathroom area as assigned, (i.e. vacuuming, dusting, changing bed linen, emptying trash cans).
- Report any maintenance needs or items left behind from the guest to the appropriate department.
- Become familiar and knowledgeable with the hotel's safety and emergency procedures.
- Meet hotel and company standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, more than 20 lbs. often housekeeper carts can weigh more than 40 lbs. or more to push, pull.
- Ability to stand for long period of time and perform repetitive motions, up to majority of scheduled shift.
- Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
- Detail-oriented individual who is able to focus his/her cleaning responsibilities, ensuring that each room set up is completed as required by the property.
- Ability to maintain a composed, gracious and professional attitude.
- Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
This position is subject to successful completion of a background check as it relates to the responsibilities of the role.
