We are looking for a well-rounded Infrastructure Administrator who enjoys troubleshooting, learning new technologies, and working directly with customers. This role works across traditional infrastructure, networking, Microsoft 365, Azure, security, and cloud technologies.
You don't need to be an expert in everything. We're looking for someone with a strong infrastructure foundation, good troubleshooting instincts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to learn.
What You’ll Do- Manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve customer server, network, cloud, and Microsoft infrastructure.
- Support and implement Windows Server, Hyper-V/VMware, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra .
- Configure and troubleshoot networking, firewalls, switching, routing, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure.
- Help manage backup, disaster recovery, security, system performance, and availability.
- Support modern Microsoft technologies including Intune, Conditional Access, MFA, Azure Backup, and cloud/hybrid infrastructure.
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, deployments, and customer projects.
- Work with NCI Engineers and Solutions Architects to design and implement technology solutions.
- Clearly document work and proactively communicate with customers and internal teams.
- Look for opportunities to improve customer environments through better processes, tools, automation, and technology.
- Approximately 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting servers, networks, operating systems, storage, cloud, or similar infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across servers, networking, virtualization, cloud, and security.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Hyper-V and/or VMware.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Experience with backup and recovery technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with engineers, architects, and customers.
- A customer-first mindset with the ability to understand why a customer needs something, not simply implement what was requested.
Experience with any of the following is a plus, not necessarily a requirement:
- Microsoft Entra , Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, or SSO
- Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
- Azure infrastructure, Azure Backup, Site Recovery, Azure Migrate, Azure Arc, or Azure Monitor
- Power Shell or other scripting/automation
- SAN/NAS and enterprise storage
- Microsoft security technologies
- Microsoft 365 Copilot or other emerging AI technologies
Relevant Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, MS-102, MD-102, and AI-900 are a plus.
