L Summer Law Clerk - Fargo, ND

We are seeking a 2L Summer Law Clerk who will graduate from law school in 2027 to join the Fargo office in Summer 2026.

We look for well-rounded individuals who have strong intellectual, problem‑solving, analytical, and writing skills, and who have also participated in leadership roles in their schools or communities. Successful candidates display skills and interest in teamwork, an entrepreneurial spirit, taking initiative, a client‑orientation, and the ability to create, advance, and deepen relationships. We prefer to see students who are in the top 25% of their class.

Ties to or interest in North Dakota are a plus.

We do not currently hold a formal summer associate program (with expectation of post‑graduate employment) out of our Fargo office, but our law clerk gets great exposure to our attorneys and interesting client work.

Law Clerks are hired as hourly employees with a pay rate of $25 per hour.
