The Superintendent, Vegetable Oil Refinery will provide strategic operational guidance and direction for the West Fargo, ND Refinery facility. In this role, you will oversee and hold the refinery operating facility accountable to standards for safety, quality, operational effectiveness, and financial performance. You will also develop, implement, and maintain processes and programs built to ensure compliance with existing federal, state, and local environmental regulations and requirements for operations.
The position reports to the Plant Manager and has three direct reports (Refinery Supervisors). There are one hundred people working in the facility.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR equivalent experience
- 6+ years of related work experience. Ideally Vegetable Oil refinery experience. Also experience processing food or animal feed raw ingredients. Food or Feed manufacturing experience. Petroleum refinery experience is also acceptable.
- Supervisory experience
- Safety and quality ownership experience
- Budgeting and operations planning experience.
- Solid leadership experience needed. Good team leader. A change leader. Continuous improvement leader.

Direct Reports : 3 Refinery Supervisors. There are 100 people working in the facility.
