Mechanical Assembly Technician (Roll-Forming Equipment)

Eastside Machine Company is seeking a mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Mechanical Assembly Technician for roll-forming equipment. In this role, you will assemble, set up, and test industrial machinery used to produce siding, soffit, gutter, and other metal building products.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble and install roll-forming equipment and machine components
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Set up and adjust mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Inspect assemblies using calipers, gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Troubleshoot equipment and make adjustments as needed
• Complete job and labor reporting in the ERP system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical systems
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
