At Flint Group, great communications do more than capture attention, they build trust, influence perceptions, and drive business results. We're looking for a Vice President of PR, Social Media & Content Strategy to lead the strategy, growth, and evolution of our integrated communications capabilities.

As a senior leader, you'll shape how we help clients tell their stories, strengthen their reputations, and connect with the audiences that matter most. You'll provide strategic counsel to clients, lead and develop a talented team, and collaborate across the agency to deliver innovative, measurable solutions. You'll also play a critical role in growing our business, expanding client relationships, and ensuring our PR, social, and content strategy offerings remain relevant, competitive, and impactful.

What

You'll Do
  • Set the strategic vision and direction for Flint's PR, social media, and content strategy capabilities, aligning services with evolving client needs, market opportunities, and agency growth objectives.
  • Lead the development of integrated communications strategies that support client business goals, brand awareness, reputation, audience engagement, and lead generation.
  • Serve as a senior strategic advisor to clients, providing counsel on brand positioning, communications opportunities, reputation management, and complex business challenges.
  • Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and leading strategic contributions to pitches, proposals, and new business development.
  • Oversee the development of compelling brand narratives and multi-channel content strategies, including earned media, thought leadership, executive communications, social media, and digital content.
  • Cultivate and leverage relationships with journalists, editors, industry influencers, creators, and other stakeholders to secure meaningful earned media opportunities.
  • Provide executive leadership during crisis communications and reputation challenges, guiding response strategies, stakeholder messaging, and client counsel.
  • Oversee content strategy, media relations and editorial direction, ensuring high-quality thought leadership, press releases, case studies, social content, and SEO-informed digital communications.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop PR, social media, and content professionals, establishing clear expectations, accountability, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Oversee team capacity, workflows, resource allocation, and operational efficiency to ensure high-quality work and strong financial performance.
  • Establish performance expectations and measurement frameworks, using campaign analytics, earned media results, organic traffic, engagement, and other KPIs to demonstrate business impact.
  • Translate performance insights into strategic recommendations for clients, internal leadership, and future business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with leaders across creative, strategy, media, analytics, account service, and other disciplines to develop cohesive solutions and leverage the full capabilities of Flint Group.
  • Evaluate emerging platforms, technologies, AI, audience behaviors, and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive differentiation.
  • Champion continuous improvement in team processes, tools, service offerings, and strategic capabilities to strengthen the discipline's long-term success.
What You Bring
  • 8-10+ years of progressive experience in public relations, social media, content marketing, or corporate communications, including at least 2 years in an agency environment managing multiple client accounts. Demonstrated leadership experience is essential; senior-level agency or department leadership experience is strongly preferred.
