• Unit:
Operating Room (OR) – 25 OR suites,surgical cases per day

• Assignment Duration: 13-week travel contract

• Guaranteed

Hours:

40 hours per week

•

Shifts:

8 or 10 hour day shifts, with late stays as needed (no call back, but extension of regular shift). Rotates to PM shift with all staff.

• On Call: 1-2 days per week and every 3-4 weekends

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $$2600

OR RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for North Dakota or Compact State

• Minimum 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience in a large hospital beds, Level 1 Trauma Center preferred)

• Experience in acute care settings with 15 or more OR suites

• Robotics experience (DaVinci preferred), Neuro/Ortho procedures, and navigation equipment

• Strong general and ENT surgical experience

• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)

• Experience with computerized charting systems (EPIC preferred)

• Must not reside within a 60-mile radius of Fargo, ND facility

• At least 1 year of recent OR RN experience required
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Circulate and deliver direct patient care in the operating room setting

• Sterile prepping of surgical sites, catheter insertion, opening sterile supplies, and positioning patients for surgery

• Document patient care and surgical procedures in electronic medical records

• Set up and operate OR equipment including cautery, lasers, laparoscopic and arthroscopy equipment, and Stealth navigation for neurosurgery

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care

• Participate in on-call rotation and provide late shift coverage as needed

• May occasionally float to other hospital campuses
