- Conducting telephone triage and health education for patients of all ages
- Using established protocols and medical resources to assess symptoms and provide appropriate recommendations
- Referring patients to physicians and specialty services as needed
- Performing systematic assessments of physiological, psychological, and cognitive status
- Documenting health information accurately and ensuring legal compliance
- Offering resource referrals and educating patients professionally
- Managing crisis situations with effective communication and adherence to protocols
- Minimum of 3 years nursing experience
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Current unencumbered RN license, with multi-state licensure if applicable
- Maintains BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications; obtains department-specific credentials
- Flexible full-time evening schedule with varied shifts
- Requires holiday and weekend coverage
