Salary Range: $18.75 - $28.00

Job Responsibilities

Enforce policies and procedures with patients, visitors, and staff.

Patrol and secure facility buildings and grounds.

Monitor visitor conduct and confront unauthorized persons.

Report safety hazards and violations.

Assist with situations, problem-solving, and escort personnel as needed.

Maintain records and incident reports.

Work with all age groups and prioritize calls based on urgency.

De-escalate stressful situations and be aware of local laws affecting conduct.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; college or vocational education is a plus.
• Experience in healthcare security, law enforcement, or contract security is highly preferred.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Basic certification by International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety preferred within one year of hire.
