Overview

JB Surfaces is looking for three new members to join our team! We specialize in the repair, rejuvenation, and striping of asphalt, concrete and sport surfaces. • Perform a variety of tasks preparing surfaces for coating and assisting in the application of coating material.
• Assist in cleaning and sealing cracks in asphalt parking lots, as well as widening/sealing joints in concrete parking lots and roadways.
• Aid in the layout and striping of parking stalls in new asphalt/concrete parking lots, as well as restriping existing lines.
• Maintain a clean job site: pick up all tools and equipment and secure the job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
• Ensure proper safety procedures and machine/tool care are followed.

• Ability to follow and implement oral and written directions from the crew foreman and/or Project Manager.
• Capable of working well without supervision and anticipating work that needs to be done.
• Attention to detail is crucial.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds if required.
• Consistent attendance with dependability and reliability.

Construction Foreman and Laborers will work in crews of 2-6 people, depending on the project's size and type. Project sites can vary from day to day or week to week, with some projects lasting a few days and others just a few hours. Work is primarily outdoors and subject to variable weather conditions (heat/humidity, cold, wind).

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on past experience.
