* * Department Details
** Install flooring in Sanford hospitals and clinics, ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards. Coordinate with project teams to meet installation deadlines and project requirements.
** Summary
* * Plans, organizes and completes installation of flooring materials, such as carpet tile, vinyl tile and sheet vinyl, throughout Sanford's facilities.
** Job Description
** Will be involved in all facets of the flooring process, including take-offs from plans, procuring materials, working with Sanford Project Managers & General Contractors on scheduling, performing demolition of existing flooring and prep/install of new flooring.

Strong communication skills and a self-starting attitude are key to being successful in this role. Must be able to install carpet tile, vinyl tile and sheet vinyl, including welded seems. There will be occasions when off-hour work is needed to work around operational schedules of departments.

Will provide flooring services on finishes refresh projects, small to mid-size renovations and maintenance/repair type work. Light carpentry skills are also preferred to help support the project teams as needed.
** Qualifications
* * Three to five years of commercial experience in flooring preferred. Must have a valid drivers license.
Vinyl and carpet certification preferred.
