Sheet Metal Apprentice

Join a dynamic team where you will gain hands‑on experience working on commercial and industrial job sites. Work a consistent schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6 AM to 5 PM, with the opportunity to work in 4‑day, 10‑hour shifts. Your work will vary between the shop, where you will pre‑make ductwork, and on‑site installations at commercial buildings.

• Assist in measuring, cutting, and installing ductwork into ceiling spaces in new commercial buildings.

• Participate in the pre‑making of ductwork in the shop.

• Help with the installation of HVAC registers and grills for ductwork systems.

• Fit elbows for the ductwork as much as possible before arriving on site.

• Perform basic tasks such as holding materials in place, final installations, clean‑up, and parts/accessory installation.

• Experience or willingness to learn in sheet metal work and duct installation.

• Proficiency with hand tools.

• Basic understanding of HVAC systems and general labor tasks.

• 6 months of construction or installation experience preferred.

• Mechanically inclined entry‑level candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Work is based in Fargo, ND, inside new commercial construction spaces. The role involves general labor work, typically starting the day between 6 AM and 7 AM, with full 8‑10 hour shifts. There is flexibility in meeting at the shop or directly at the job site.
