Sheet Metal Apprentice
Join a dynamic team where you will gain hands‑on experience working on commercial and industrial job sites. Work a consistent schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6 AM to 5 PM, with the opportunity to work in 4‑day, 10‑hour shifts. Your work will vary between the shop, where you will pre‑make ductwork, and on‑site installations at commercial buildings.
ResponsibilitiesAssist in measuring, cutting, and installing ductwork into ceiling spaces in new commercial buildings.
Participate in the pre‑making of ductwork in the shop.
Help with the installation of HVAC registers and grills for ductwork systems.
Fit elbows for the ductwork as much as possible before arriving on site.
Perform basic tasks such as holding materials in place, final installations, clean‑up, and parts/accessory installation.
Experience or willingness to learn in sheet metal work and duct installation.
Proficiency with hand tools.
Basic understanding of HVAC systems and general labor tasks.
Skills & Qualifications
6 months of construction or installation experience preferred.
Mechanically inclined entry‑level candidates are encouraged to apply.
Valid driver’s license preferred.

Work EnvironmentWork is based in Fargo, ND, inside new commercial construction spaces. The role involves general labor work, typically starting the day between 6 AM and 7 AM, with full 8‑10 hour shifts. There is flexibility in meeting at the shop or directly at the job site.
