Job Title:

Crane Service Technician

In this role, you will be responsible for servicing industrial trucks both in the shop and in the field. You will primarily work on a range of cranes, including Manitex and IMT, with a focus on hydraulic and electrical systems. Your tasks will involve running diagnostics using laptops, making necessary repairs, and occasionally performing minor welding.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair hydraulic and electrical systems on industrial cranes.
• Run diagnostics using laptops to identify and resolve issues.
• Repair hoses, work on aerials, replace booms, and work on pivots from the cab back.
• Perform field service repairs on hydraulics and electrical components.
• Travel to surrounding states for field service work, potentially from Monday to Friday.

Essential Skills

• Hydraulic and electrical experience.
• Ability to use hand tools and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with crane inspection and field service.
• Skills in assembly, wiring, electronics, and pneumatics.
• Fabrication and minor welding experience is beneficial.
• Must be comfortable working on your feet and in tight spaces.
• Willingness to travel and work on the road if required.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic environment that includes both shop and field settings. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, with flexibility around family schedules. Field service roles may require travel and staying on the road during the week.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fargo, ND.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62,400.00 – $83,200.00 /yr.
