Gymnastics Coach

$14.00 to $24.00 per hour

• Teach and Develop
  
  Skills:
  
  Learn and deliver curriculum, ensuring safe and engaging instruction with a focus on technique, skill progression, and injury prevention.
• Personalized
  
  Coaching:
  
  Provide individualized feedback and support to athletes to enhance their skills and overcome challenges.
• Administrative Duties:
  Handle class-related administrative tasks such as attendance, skill tracking, and evaluations.
• Collaboration and Coordination:
  Work with colleagues and other coaches to organize practice schedules, events, and competitions.
• Effective Communication:
  Maintain clear and high-level communication with peers, management, athletes, and parents/guardians.
• Facility Maintenance:
  Ensure the facility and equipment are clean, organized, and meet safety standards.
• Event Awareness:
  Stay informed about upcoming TNT events.
• Certification Maintenance:
  Keep all required certifications up to date.
• Depending on your position, you may be required to host parent conferences and travel for gymnastics meets. Meets typically occur over weekends, December through May.

• Former competitive gymnastics coach or competitive gymnast.
• Attending, interested in attending or graduated from university for:
  Elementary Education, Physical Education, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
• Coaching Certification & Membership from USAG Gymnastics.

• Physical tasks such as moving, adjusting, and setting up equipment upwards of 50lbs.
• Ability to position self in multiple ways to ensure safety through performance of specific skills.
• TNT is a fast-paced environment, and the successful candidate will be able to adapt quickly and be quick-study and self-reliant.
