Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Hotshot Truck Driver in North Dakota — Now Hiring

Hotshot truck driver opening in North Dakota, serving Fargo, Bismarck, Grand Forks, Minot.

Heavy-duty pickup trucks (F-350, Ram 3500) with 33-40 ft gooseneck trailers for time-sensitive LTL freight. Non-CDL: under 26,000 lbs combined. CDL: haul up to 80,000 lbs. Typical freight in North Dakota:
Pipeline materials, Bakken rig equipment, Oilfield equipment, Construction materials, LTL machinery parts, Agricultural equipment.

Agricultural and manufacturing sectors drive hotshot demand in North Dakota. When a combine breaks down during harvest or a factory line stops for a missing part, hotshot drivers deliver the solution. Rates are moderate compared to oilfield hotshot ($1.50-2.50/mile), but the work is consistent and predictable.

Common North Dakota lanes:
Bakken oil field equipment, Williston Basin rig support, Minot pipeline materials.

The Bakken oil formation in western North Dakota drives premium hotshot and flatbed rates for oilfield equipment

Requirements:
Valid driver's license — no CDL needed under 26,000 lbs combined weight, Heavy-duty pickup (Ford F-350, Ram 3500, or equivalent), Gooseneck trailer (33-40 ft), Commercial auto insurance policy, Clean driving record, Securement equipment — straps, chains, binders for flatbed loads.

Typical pay for hotshot work is $0.60–$1.10 per mile. This is a market estimate for the equipment type — the carrier confirms actual pay with you before placement.

24/7 dispatch support, no forced dispatch, choose your own loads.
