As we continue to grow and scale, we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer who is not only technically strong, but also a force multiplier – someone who elevates the performance of the entire team through mentorship, process improvement, and scalable engineering solutions across Trystar’s diverse product portfolio.

This position will play a critical role in developing accurate, well-defined engineering solutions for complex customer requests, ensuring that high-value custom projects move smoothly through the quoting and order process. The Senior Electrical Engineer will work closely with Sales, Applications, Engineering, and manufacturing to translate unique customer requirements into feasible, manufacturable designs while maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and standardization.

• Design custom power distribution equipment following UL 1008, UL 508, UL 891 and UL 1558 standards.
• Support and lead the custom quoting and order process, ensuring technical feasibility, manufacturability, and compliance with UL standards and customer specifications.
• Provide mechanical engineering expertise across a wide range of Trystar products, ensuring custom designs align with best practice and production capabilities.
• Refine and document quoting processes to improve efficiency and reduce engineering cycle time for custom orders.
• Collaborate with Sales, offering owners, application engineers, and manufacturing to bridge the gap between customer requirements and practical, buildable solutions.
• Identify common customizations and work toward streamlining configurations to improve quoting speed and accuracy.
• Drive impact beyond individual contributions by enabling others to move faster, make better decisions, and deliver higher-quality work.
• Act as a technical mentor to engineers and sales team members, helping improve internal understanding of mechanical design principles and complex power distribution solutions.
