We are searching for a highly skilled Senior Compliance Engineer, who will be responsible for ensuring compliance of Trystar’s new products, integrated systems, and custom solutions with all relevant electrical standards and regulations, from initial design compliance to pre‑certification tests to final certification.
This position will preferably be based in Burnsville, MN, Houston, TX, Faribault, MN, or Remote.
This role aligns with the Engineering Function and reports directly to the Senior Engineering Compliance Manager.

- Contribute to development of advanced electrical power solutions.
- Develop and implement electrical and environmental compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct tests, studies, and regular audits to ensure compliance with applicable laws, electrical standards, and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks related to electrical compliance.
- Institute best practice procedures for compliance and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, including the creation of satellite laboratory testing capabilities design to reduce the overall cost and time for the certification of new products.
- Manage complaints and technical issues relating to product design and manufacturing.
- Stay up to date with changes with codes and electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Advise management on compliance‑related matters.
- Prepare and present reports on the organization’s electrical compliance status.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (or a related field)
- Minimum of Ten (10) years of industrial experience in electrical product compliance, product certifications or a related field.
- Ten (10) years of experience with product testing and process analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to apply regulatory compliance frameworks effectively.
