Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Phlebotomist II in Faribault, MN. The individual in this position will be responsible for performing blood collections, ensuring proper specimen labeling, handling, and transportation. Additional tasks include interacting professionally with patients, adhering to medical safety and hygiene protocols, and providing exceptional customer service. The Phlebotomist II will also support laboratory operations and collaborate with clinical staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Blood Collection techniques and related laboratory skills
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medicine basics
• Experience in Medical Assisting or similar clinical roles
• Attention to detail and adherence to hygiene and safety protocols
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain accurate records
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues
• Previous experience in a healthcare or laboratory setting is preferred
• Certification in phlebotomy or relevant training is required
