Job Accountabilities

• Responsible for setting up, adjusting, repairing, overhauling, performing preventive maintenance, quality checks, and evaluating can line equipment to maintain standard quality and production.
• Ensure safe mechanical performance of line and standard production output.
• Disassemble, replace, reassemble, inspect, and maintain machinery and equipment as required.
• Measure and record can dimensions against specifications; maintain production and quality records.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues; perform repairs and maintenance on production equipment.
• Maintain safety standards for all duties.
• Complete a 4,000-hour training program to become fully qualified as a Maintainer, with extensive on-the-job training provided.

Job Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and lift between 10 lbs. and 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Proficient in basic math and English language skills.
• Must have verifiable mechanical, technical aptitude and experience.
• Pass basic Ramsay Mechanical Aptitude Test and Basic Minimizer Test.
• Ability to read and utilize micrometers, vernier calipers, etc.
• Motivated to participate in SPC projects and functions.

Performance will be evaluated at 1,000-hour intervals during the training schedule. Satisfactory progress is necessary for continuation.
