Manufacturing Process Engineer
Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their team. As part of the Engineering department, you will support manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset.
Responsibilities- Design and plan equipment layout to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
- Evaluate processes and equipment to ensure safe and effective production methods.
- Maintain documentation of processes via process flow diagrams (PFDs) and process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
- Develop and review heat and mass balances, utility consumption, equipment, and installation specifications.
- Conduct research to develop new and improved manufacturing processes and troubleshoot related issues.
- Bachelor’s of Science degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Engineering, or a related field with relevant experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and contractor management.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
