This position is responsible for operating and maintaining the plant's high-pressure steam boilers, water testing, cooker operation, and record keeping.

3RD SHIFT | M-F 9:45 PM - 6:15 AM - Type:
Direct Hire - Department:
Maintenance - Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.00/HR

- Boiler Firing & Steam Generation: igniting high-pressure steam boilers, managing water lines to feed pumps, building pressure safely to 125 PSI, and opening main headers.
- Water Chemistry & Pre-Treatment:
Running water softeners, testing boiler water quality, and maintaining soft water levels in the Deaerator (D.A.) tank to prevent system scaling or corrosion. - Process Support & Maintenance:
Operating plant cookers, executing daily mechanical maintenance tasks, and keeping accurate legal/operational logbooks.

Qualifications- Previous experience operating boiler systems with PSI of 125lbs or greater
- Deaerator (D.A.) tank knowledge
