These Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) serve as subject matter experts in general health related areas in the educational school setting. LPNs working for Faribault Public Schools provide care to students with health needs, refer students to outside providers, and assist with screenings and prevention of communicable diseases. The positions commence immediately upon hire. LPNs are employed full‑time for 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week between late August and early June, serving multiple health offices within Faribault Public Schools.

Additional summer opportunities are available.

On‑site hands‑on management of routine and emergency health concerns at multiple health offices district wide according to district policy and guidelines and state law. Daily distribution of student medications, maintenance of student health records, and ongoing communication with parents, teachers, specialists, principals, and the health service coordinator. Collect and report data as directed by the case manager. Work well in a team and using the computer.

Lifts up to 50 lbs.

LPN with CPR and First Aid Training strongly preferred; other medical certifications will be considered.
