Customer Service Associate

Walgreens invites applications for the Customer Service Associate position.

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on the assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer‑service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits such as greeting, eye contact, courtesy, and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied).
• Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommend items for sale and suggest trade‑up or companion items.
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Maintain counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
• Check in and price merchandise as required.
• Implement company asset‑protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super‑structures, and sale merchandise.
• Assist with separation of food items, product placement, and stock rotation using FIFO method.
• Have working knowledge of store systems and store equipment.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and poster‑print/creative machine usage.
• Assume web‑pick‑up responsibilities and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at store.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by manager or assigned by corporate.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Fluency in English (non‑Puerto Rico locations).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Salary Range: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour (based on experience and skills).
