Direct Support Professional - $1000 Hiring Bonus
Apply for the Direct Support Professional role at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota.
Pay: $16/hour. After six months of consistent employment, eligible for a wage increase up to $16.50/hour. Receive a $1,000 hiring bonus (eligibility requirements apply).
Shifts- Saturday and Sunday 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
- Friday 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
- Saturday and Sunday 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
- Monday 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
- Provide person‑centered care that supports individuals' personal goals.
- Build trusting relationships and offer encouragement and guidance.
- Advocate for individuals in community engagement and essential living‑skill support.
- Maintain accurate documentation, perform record keeping, and attend periodic meetings and training as required by regulations and LSS standards.
- Desire to help individuals with disabilities achieve personal hopes and dreams.
- No education or experience required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and ability to pass a motor vehicle check.
- Successful completion of a DHS background check.

- 40% full‑time equivalent or greater
- Stay current on all trainings
