Has an understanding on how children learn, awareness of academic changes and approach to learning. Ability to challenge students and teachers to bring out their best. A positive and child centred approach. Will work with the Principal as a part of the school leadership team.
Role

Academic leadership
Supervise and lead the instructional programs of the Primary school, evaluating lesson plans and observing classes on a regular basis to encourage the use of a variety of instructional strategies and materials consistent with research on learning and child growth and development.

Community connect
Conducting PTMs and one to one meetings with parents.
Communication processes

Student focus
Academic, emotional and social needs of students.
Organizing relevant workshops and events which support further learning
Developing spirit of creativity and collaboration among the student community

Qualifications
Masters in any subject- preferably English, Science, Social Sciences
Professional teaching degree from a recognised University- B Ed/MEd
Proficiency in technology
Proficiency in Language
Excellent communication skills

Experience
Experience in working and policies of the CBSE board.

Experience of other boards is also welcome.
Updated knowledge in the following

· Teaching methodology

· Remediation planning

· Differential learning

· Curriculum review and planning

· Student assessment
