About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Admission Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students, driving admissions, managing the complete sales cycle, and achieving enrolment targets while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
Student Counselling & Admissions
Counsel prospective students and working professionals regarding various educational and training programs.
Understand candidates' career aspirations and recommend suitable courses and programs.
Handle inbound and outbound enquiries through calls, emails, Whats App, and social media platforms.
Conduct detailed counselling sessions and address candidate concerns effectively.
Lead Management & Conversion
Follow up with prospective students on a regular basis to maximize conversions.
Maintain and update student records in CRM systems.
Track the complete admission funnel from enquiry to enrolment.
Achieve monthly and quarterly admission targets.
Sales & Business Development
Generate admissions through tele-counselling and relationship management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and referral partners.
Identify new opportunities for student acquisition and business growth.
Participate in admission drives, seminars, webinars, and career counselling events.
Documentation & Process Management
Assist candidates with application forms, documentation, and fee payment processes.
Ensure all admission-related documents are collected and maintained accurately.
Coordinate with internal teams for onboarding and batch allocation.
Team Leadership & Mentoring
Guide and mentor junior admission counsellors.
Share best practices and provide training on counselling techniques and objection handling.
Monitor team performance and support the achievement of admission goals.
Experience
Minimum 1 years of experience in Admissions, Education Sales, EdTech, or Training Industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding admission targets.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
Outstanding counselling and relationship-building skills.
Ability to handle objections and close admissions effectively.
Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
