Sap Materials Management Consultant

Yamaha Motor Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, configuration, and support of the SAP Materials Management (MM) module. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure that business processes are optimized and aligned with the overall organizational goals.

You will be tasked with analyzing current business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and providing solutions while ensuring seamless integrations with other SAP modules.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SAP MM.
- Configure the SAP MM module to meet business needs including procurement, inventory management, and material valuation.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP MM issues and enhancements.
- Conduct user training and create documentation for SAP MM processes and functionalities.
- Participate in system testing and user acceptance testing to ensure the stability and functionality of the implemented solutions.
- Stay updated on SAP best practices and emerging trends to advise on potential improvements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certification in SAP MM is an advantage.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in SAP MM consulting or a similar role.

Required Skills

- Strong expertise in SAP MM module with a thorough understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and pricing.

- Experience with integration of SAP MM with other SAP modules such as SD, PP, and WM.
- Proficient in SAP configuration, testing, and documentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4

HANA and associated technologies is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in SAP reporting tools and data analysis.

Preferred Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certification in SAP MM is an advantage.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in SAP MM consulting or a similar role.
- Mandatory Skill:
Worked on master data from SAP MM and used data migration tools like LTMC and cockpit.
