Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Lab Vantage LIMS Application Support Consultant to join our managed services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing L2/L3 application support for a global pharmaceutical client, ensuring stable application operations, SLA compliance, incident resolution, and seamless coordination with client, vendor, and internal support teams.
This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical expertise in Lab Vantage LIMS , database troubleshooting, API integrations, and excellent stakeholder communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end L2/L3 application support for Lab Vantage LIMS, including incident management, service requests, troubleshooting, resolution, and closure within SLA timelines.
Act as the primary client-facing contact for critical issues and escalations, providing timely updates and effective communication to stakeholders.
Coordinate with Lab Vantage support teams, SaaS vendors, and internal technical teams to resolve defects, application issues, patches, and enhancements.
Troubleshoot and resolve API integration failures between Lab Vantage LIMS and connected enterprise/laboratory systems.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for recurring incidents.
Support SIT, UAT, application upgrades, patch releases, and change management activities.
Create and maintain technical documentation including SOPs, runbooks, support guides, incident reports, and knowledge base articles.
Collaborate with globally distributed support teams to ensure seamless handovers and continuous support coverage.
Monitor application health, identify trends, and recommend improvements to enhance system stability and performance.
Ensure all support activities comply with GxP requirements, quality standards, and internal governance processes.
Required Skills
4–8 years of experience in Lab Vantage LIMS Application Support .
Hands-on experience providing L2/L3 support within Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Life Sciences, or Healthcare environments.
Strong expertise in Lab Vantage LIMS platform , including:
Workflows
Business Rules
Master Data Management
Web Page Designer
Configuration-driven architecture
Strong experience with:
Oracle Database
SQL Server
SQL Query Analysis
Database Troubleshooting
Experience troubleshooting API and system integration issues between LIMS and external applications.
Familiarity with SaaS application support models and vendor management processes.
Experience supporting SIT/UAT activities in regulated environments.
Strong documentation and knowledge management capabilities.
Experience working within global support and follow-the-sun support models.
Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with ERP, MES, Instrument Interfaces, and laboratory system integrations.
Knowledge of GxP, CSV, FDA, and regulated pharmaceutical environments.
Familiarity with ITSM tools such as:
Service Now
Jira Service Management
Remedy
Understanding of Change Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management processes.
Exposure to cloud-based application support environments.
