Key Responsibilities
- 1. Product Strategy & Growth Ownership:
Define strategic roadmap themes aligned to revenue growth and market opportunity
Own product success as a business outcome—adoption, expansion, and monetisation
Identify new product and revenue opportunities across the retail ecosystem
Drive product-led growth and expansion strategies
2. Market & Competitive Intelligence:
Build deep understanding of retail SaaS landscape across ERP, POS, OMS, and commerce
Conduct structured market research and segmentation
Identify whitespace opportunities and defensible product positions
Track global trends in AI, automation, and retail digitisation
3. Customer &;
Problem Discovery:
Lead customer discovery with enterprise and mid-market retailers
Translate customer pain points into scalable product opportunities
Balance enterprise requirements with SaaS scalability and product vision
Act as the voice of the market within the product organization
4. Go-To-Market & Monetisation Strategy:
Define product positioning, messaging, and value proposition
Contribute to pricing and packaging strategy
Partner with sales on enterprise deals and product narratives
Enable product launches with marketing and GTM teams
5. AI-Driven Product
Innovation:
Identify opportunities to embed AI across retail workflows
Define AI-native experiences such as copilots, automation, and predictive insights
Partner with data and engineering teams to shape AI roadmap
Move beyond dashboards to decisioning and automation systems
6. Product Direction & Cross-Functional Alignment:
Define clear product direction and strategic artifacts (MRDs, roadmap themes)
Work with inbound PMs to translate strategy into execution
Align engineering, design, and business teams on priorities and trade-offs
Ensure long-term product architecture is not compromised for short-term gains
Ideal Candidate
Strong Senior Product Manager profile (Retail-Tech / ERP)
Mandatory (Experience
1) – Must have 6+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in Retail / ERP platforms serving enterprise or mid-market customers.
Mandatory (Experience
2) – Must have strong hands-on experience in Retail ERP domain, with exposure to modules such as Inventory Management, Merchandising, Supply Chain, POS, Order Management, Retail Operations, or Omnichannel Retail systems.
Mandatory (Experience
3) – Must have proven experience driving product strategy and business outcomes, including measurable impact on product adoption, revenue growth, customer expansion, monetisation, retention, or customer experience improvements.
Mandatory (Experience
4) – Must demonstrate end-to-end product ownership including customer discovery, market research, PRD/MRD creation, roadmap definition, prioritisation, GTM alignment, launch strategy and post-launch performance tracking.
Mandatory (Experience
5) – Must have strong exposure to market-facing/outbound product management, including customer interactions, sales partnership, pricing discussions, product positioning and growth initiatives.
Mandatory (Experience
6) – Must possess strong understanding of Retail SaaS ecosystem and ERP products, with ability to identify product opportunities and convert customer problems into scalable product solutions.
Mandatory (Stability) – Candidate should have worked a minimum of 1.5–2 years in each organisation.
Mandatory (Company) – Candidates should be from Retail ERP / Retail SaaS / POS / Enterprise Retail Technology Product companies only.
