Position: Head Purchase / Procurement (Heavy Engineering Equipment Manufacturing)
Job description

Key Responsibilities
Lead the complete procurement and purchasing function.
Ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, subcontracting services, and capital equipment.
Develop and manage domestic and international suppliers.
Negotiate prices, contracts, and commercial terms to achieve cost savings.
Drive strategic sourcing initiatives and vendor development programs.
Monitor inventory levels and material planning to avoid production delays.
Manage import procurement activities.
Coordinate with production, planning, stores, and finance teams.
Lead and mentor the procurement team.
Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and quality standards.

Education
Diploma / B.E. /

Ideal Candidate
16 yrs+ experience required
Has managed annual procurement spends of 100+ Crore.
Experienced in handling large supplier networks.
Proven track record of leading procurement teams in a heavy engineering manufacturing environment.

Budget for this role is max 25 - 30 Lacs depending upon present salary and experience.
