Position: Interim Financial Accountant (Temporary)
Location: Vale of White Horse

Do you have experience across Month End, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll? Are you based close to Abingdon? Would you like to work with a world leading, high growth SaaS technology business?

As we continue to grow we need a dependable person to join our finance team and keep our Xero based accounts systems running like clockwork.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, as a Financial Accountant you will be at the centre of our companies activities, facilitating the smooth running of our UK and USA Accounts systems. Your duties will cover month end processes, general ledgers, balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns and extend to assisting with monthly management accounts, payroll and credit control. Experience is more important than qualifications but we would expect you to be at least at AAT level or equivelent.

This will be a Full-Time Fixed Term Contract running to the end of May 2026. The role will be based at our office in Abingdon with occaisional hybrid working by agreement. You should live within reasonable commuting distance of Abingdon.

Knowledge &

Experience:

* Min 4-5 years of financial / bookkeeping experience

* Knowledge of Accounting Software - preferably Xero

* Exceptional interpersonal / Customer service skills

* Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word)

* Experience (or willing to learn) of Payroll systems

* Attention to detail, ability to follow processes and procedures

* Able to work without supervision with a positive can-do attitude

* Ideally experience working in a technology / software company environment.
