Site Manager

SITE MANAGER | £6M SCHOOL PROJECT | FARINGDON

We're looking for an experienced Site Manager to take the lead on a £6m new-build school project in Faringdon, starting in September. This is a great opportunity to take a project from start to finish, overseeing two separate blocks and working closely with the wider project team.

• Tier 3 contractor specialising in education
• Up to £70k + package
• OR £300 per day
• Permanent or freelance

You'll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site, including:

• Managing the project from start through to completion
• Coordinating and managing subcontractors
• Planning and sequencing works
• Ensuring works are delivered to programme
• Reviewing and implementing RAMS
• Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks
• Managing site health & safety and maintaining high standards
• Coordinating materials, deliveries and plant
• Liaising with the Project Manager, engineers and wider site team
• Reading and working from drawings and specifications
  
  Carrying out regular quality inspections
• Identifying and resolving site issues
• Managing snagging and ensuring works are completed to a high standard
• Keeping accurate site records and reporting progress
• Attending site meetings and coordinating with the client and wider team

• SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid
• Strong Site Management experience
• Ideally experience delivering education / new-build projects
• Ability to manage subcontractors and take ownership of a project
