1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Faringdon
Start Date:
ASAP / January 2026
Pay: £89–£100 per day
A caring and inclusive primary school in Faringdon is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with an EHCP. This role is ideal for someone patient, nurturing and enthusiastic about helping children with additional needs succeed.
Role Responsibilities- Provide personalised 1:1 support for a pupil with SEN
- Assist with learning tasks, daily routines and emotional regulation
- Follow the pupil’s EHCP and implement strategies advised by the SENCO
- Promote confidence, engagement and independence
- Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team
- Experience supporting children with SEN (school or care environment)
- A genuine passion for working with children with additional needs
- Keen to develop SEN skills or progress within education
