SEND Teaching Assistant – Day‑to‑day supply across Faringdon and surrounding areas, starting as soon as possible

These flexible opportunities are ideal for SEND Teaching Assistants who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs in mainstream and specialist provisions, helping to create inclusive and engaging learning environments.

• Support pupils with SEND in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning goals
• Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated activities
• Provide one‑to‑one and small group support as required
• Help manage behaviour and promote positive social interactions
• Contribute to the development of individual education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
• Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently

• Relevant experience supporting children with SEND in school settings
• Understanding of a range of special educational needs and strategies to support them
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexibly across different schools and age groups
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• A positive, proactive, and patient approach to supporting pupils
