LHH is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a rapidly growing, nationally recognized organization in the services industry. This company is known for its strong operational footprint, multi‑location structure, and commitment to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of hands‑on accounting expertise, leadership ability, and a process‑oriented mindset, ideally gained within a large or multi‑entity environment. This role offers the opportunity to supervise and mentor a small team, partner closely with operations leadership, and contribute to both daily accounting functions and long‑term efficiency initiatives.

• Provide supervision and guidance to a team of two Staff Accountants, reviewing their work for accuracy and completeness
• Perform month‑end close activities including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, margin and expense analysis across multiple profit centers
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and established accounting policies and procedures
• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and automation within accounting operations
• Support preparation of schedules and documentation required for external audits
• Collaborate with internal business partners, including Regional Managers and VPs of Operations, to provide financial insight and support decision‑making
• Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned by management

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience; public or large company background strongly preferred
• CPA certification preferred
• Experience working in a multi‑location or multi‑entity environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting principles
• Proven ability to improve accounting processes and drive efficiencies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Workday GL or other large ERP systems a plus
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and levels of management
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and adaptable to a fast‑paced, growing environment
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to develop and motivate team members
