We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented SBA Loan Closer to join the remote team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of direct experience closing SBA loans, with a strong understanding of SBA 7(a), SBA 504, and USDA loan programs. Experience with franchise lending is highly preferred. This role requires a thorough knowledge of SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), strong documentation skills, and the ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.

• Manage the closing process for SBA 7(a), SBA 504, and USDA loans from approval to funding.
• Ensure all loan closings adhere to SBA SOP and internal bank policies.
• Coordinate with internal teams (underwriting, legal, compliance) and external stakeholders (borrowers, attorneys, title companies) to gather and review all necessary documentation.
• Review and approve closing checklists, closing conditions, and prepare closing statements.
• Validate that collateral and lien documentation, including UCC filings and title insurance, are accurate and complete.
• Conduct due diligence to identify and resolve closing issues prior to disbursement.
• Work closely with franchisees and understand the nuances of franchise lending.
• Maintain clear communication with clients to guide them through the closing process.
• Ensure timely and accurate funding of loans and delivery of required documents to SBA.
• Keep meticulous records and support post-closing audits and reviews.

• Minimum 5 years of direct SBA loan closing experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of SBA 7(a), SBA 504, and USDA lending programs.
• Experience in franchise lending is highly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of SBA SOP and industry regulations.
• Familiarity with loan documentation, title work, lien perfection, and legal compliance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment.
• Proficiency with loan origination systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
