Job Description

Low Country Quisine is an award-winning, full-service catering company specializing in weddings, corporate, and social events. We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to oversee our off-premise catering events. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in front-of-house banquet and event management. As an Event Manager, you will :

• Attend production meetings virtually and/or in person.
• Prepare signage for all events.
• Coordinate event rentals.
• Cross-reference floor plans and timelines with planners.
• Communicate with planners and venues as needed.
• Conduct venue walkthroughs as required.
• Assist with event packing.
• Create mock displays for buffets, stations, and food presentations.
• Train and manage event staff.
• Schedule front-of-house staff for events.
• Manage off-premise events.
• Complete post-event reports, including photos and videos.
• Occasionally transport equipment and food to events, as needed.

What We’re Looking For :

• Minimum of 5 years of front-of-house banquet and event management experience.
• At least 2 years of culinary experience; culinary management experience is a plus.
• Clean driving record.
• Bilingual skills are highly preferred.
