Position Overview

Curis is seeking a Director of De Novo Clinic Development and Market Opening to lead and execute the opening of new Integrated Care Clinics (chiropractic, mental health, nutrition, women’s health). This is a player‑coach role: you will oversee a small team of Clinic Opening Managers while personally driving market assessments, provider and staff recruiting, pre‑launch marketing, training, operational setup, and launch execution.

Key Responsibilities Leadership and Team Development
  • Lead and mentor Clinic Opening Managers and project specialists.
  • Build standardized opening playbooks, processes, checklists, and reporting dashboards.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, vendor relationships, and cross‑functional alignment.
Market Assessment & Site Selection
  • Conduct market assessments to identify viable geographic areas for new clinics, including demographic trends, competitive landscape, payer mix, referral patterns, and demand indicators.
  • Perform site visits, validate layout feasibility, and provide operational recommendations.
  • Partner with real estate and finance on business case approval for new locations.
End‑to‑End Clinic Launch Management
  • Lead the full lifecycle of clinic openings from site selection approval through opening and hand off to Regional Managers.
  • Own and manage a detailed launch project plan outlining critical path items, timelines, budget, and cross‑functional responsibilities.
  • Maintain weekly status tracking and proactively identify risks and mitigation plans.
Construction, Build‑Out & Facility Setup
  • Collaborate with contractors and facilities teams to ensure build‑out aligns with the Integrated Care Model and brand standard, and is compliant with all clinical regulations, building codes, and operational requirements for multidisciplinary care.
  • Oversee procurement, delivery, and installation of equipment across all service lines, coordinate with IT and other vendors for full setup.
Staffing & New Clinic Readiness
  • Partner with Recruiting to ensure timely hiring of providers and administrative staff.
  • Coordinate and support training on Curis operating model incl: integrated workflows, cross‑referral protocols, patient intake procedures, and brand experience, compliance etc.
  • Ensure all staff are oriented on day‑one workflows, safety protocols, and patient experience standards.
Branding, Launch Marketing & Community Activation
  • Collaborate with marketing team to plan pre‑opening campaigns, referral outreach, social media.
  • Ensure all signage, branding, digital listings, and community communication reflect the integrated clinic identity.
Go‑Live Support & Post‑Opening Stabilization
  • Serve on‑site during the launch week to troubleshoot issues, support providers and staff, and ensure smooth patient flow across care lines.
  • During first 60 days conduct regular reviews to address operational gaps and ensure the clinic is operating at full readiness.
  • Capture learnings to continuously improve the integrated care opening playbook.
Qualifications
  • 7–10+ years experience in development in healthcare, wellness, or multi‑unit retail, food or entertainment development.
  • Strong leadership experience managing teams responsible for new location openings.
  • Demonstrated hands‑on operational capability—comfortable in clinics, construction sites, and cross‑functional meetings.
  • Expertise in project management, market assessment, and launching multi‑disciplinary care environments.
  • Ability to travel frequently across Dallas/Fort Worth and into expansion markets.
