Modern Mechanical Services is growing fast across Texas, and we’re looking for a motivated, experienced Outside Sales Rep to help us take it even further. This is a new business role — no account management, no chasing work orders, and no juggling installs. We’ll handle the service side. You focus on sales.
What You’ll DoYou’ll be responsible for building relationships with commercial businesses, property managers, building engineers, and facility managers.
You’ll identify where we can add value and present real solutions in:
- Commercial HVAC Preventive Maintenance Agreements
- Equipment replacements and retrofit projects
- On-demand repair service agreements
- Light refrigeration service for commercial clients
Someone who understands HVAC systems or has sold in the building services space
You can walk a property, spot aging equipment, and hold a real conversation with decision-makers
You're a closer who likes the hunt — we won’t bog you down with service calls or account babysitting
Bonus points if you’ve worked in HVAC or a similar service industry

Requirements- 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the HVAC, mechanical, building services, or facility maintenance industries
- Working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, service agreements, or capital equipment sales
- Strong communication skills — able to build trust with property managers, facility directors, and business owners
- Self‑motivated and organized, with the ability to manage your own pipeline and sales activity
- Comfortable prospecting, cold calling, and presenting proposals in person
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn CRM and quoting tools (we use Service Trade)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (company vehicle or allowance provided)
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus — not required
- Must be based in or near the DFW area and willing to travel within your assigned territory
