Irrigation Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Licensed Irrigator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems in compliance with state regulations and industry standards. This role requires a deep understanding of water conservation practices, irrigation hydraulics, and system troubleshooting.

• Design and layout irrigation systems for commercial, and public properties
• Ensure all irrigation work complies with local and state regulations, including proper permitting
• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair irrigation components including controllers, valves, piping, heads, pumps, and sensors
• Program and troubleshoot irrigation timers/controllers (conventional and smart systems)
• Provide accurate documentation of system layouts, materials used, and service performed
• Lead and supervise irrigation technicians and labor crews on job sites
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to water pressure, electrical faults, leaks, and inefficient water usage
• Educate clients on system operation, maintenance, and water conservation practices
• Maintain accurate records of services and submit reports as required
• Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and licensing requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in irrigation installation, service, and design
• Strong understanding of irrigation hydraulics, electrical components, and controller programming
• Ability to read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and technical diagrams
• Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing irrigation system issues
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors in varying weather, and perform physical labor
