Low Voltage Lead – Access Control & Security Systems | Dallas, Texas
Join Next Level Technician as a Low Voltage Lead in Dallas, Texas! Earn $25–$30/hr, enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and steady work with a national leader in low voltage staffing.
Responsibilities:- Lead and perform hands‑on installation, troubleshooting, service, and commissioning of low voltage and access control systems
- Lead and support other low voltage technicians onsite
- Install and service access control door hardware, including maglocks, electric strikes, transfer hinges, and electric door kits
- Work with access control and security platforms including Lenel, Brivo, RCard, and Avigilon
- Read and interpret access control blueprints, wiring diagrams, and system layouts
- Troubleshoot access control systems and resolve field issues
- Ensure quality workmanship and safe installation practices
- Work safely on ladders and lifts and be comfortable working at heights
- Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial buildings and schools
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on low voltage/access control experience
- Proven experience leading crews or supervising low voltage technicians
- Hands‑on experience with Lenel, Brivo, RCard, and Avigilon
- Strong experience working with door systems and access control hardware
- Experience with doors, maglocks, electric strikes, transfer hinges, and electric door kits
- Working knowledge of telecom and data networks
- Programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting experience preferred
- Manufacturer certifications, BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus
- Must have basic hand tools and required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi‑vis vest, and steel‑toe boots
- Willingness to travel to job sites throughout the Dallas area as needed
- Monday–Friday is typical, but hours may vary based on workload
- Must be flexible for overtime, occasional weekends, and late‑night work when project demands require it
- Weekly Pay:
