Android Developer

Daily Responsibilities

Develop and enhance Android mobile applications aligned with business and customer requirements.

Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to understand functional requirements and translate them into mobile application features.

Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospective sessions.

Review application designs and provide recommendations to improve usability, maintainability, and scalability.

Work closely with UX/UI teams to implement user-friendly and visually appealing mobile interfaces.

Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.

Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices.

Coordinate with backend teams to integrate APIs and enterprise services.

Ensure application quality through unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.

Maintain technical documentation related to mobile application features and releases.

Participate in architecture and solution design discussions.

Support application deployment activities and release management processes.

Analyze customer feedback and application usage metrics to identify improvement opportunities.

Collaborate with QA teams during testing cycles to ensure successful delivery.

Participate in security, compliance, and performance review activities.

Contribute to technical debt reduction and application modernization initiatives.

Mentor junior developers and support knowledge-sharing activities across the team.

Investigate emerging mobile technologies and recommend innovation opportunities.

Maintain high application availability, reliability, and performance.

Support production environments and resolve critical issues as needed.

Ensure mobile applications comply with enterprise security and governance standards.

Drive continuous improvement of development processes, frameworks, and coding standards.
