Distribution Associate - Shipping & Receiving Specialist; 1st Shift

We are looking for a Distribution Associate who excels in shipping and receiving to join our dynamic warehouse team on the 1st shift.

This role involves managing the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products for a global climate control products manufacturer and distributor. The position is based at DFW Airport and requires hands‑on involvement in warehouse operations.

• PAY RATE: 19.50 hour

• SHIFT: 5:00am to 1:30pm OT as needed.

• Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of goods under general supervision.
• Receive goods, verify items against shipment records, and inspect their condition.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Record received and shipped items following established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation accurately.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with shipping and receiving processes.
• Standup forklift experience required.
• Drug test and background check must be passed.
• Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklifts or hydraulic jack lifts.
• Basic reading, writing and numerical skills.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners.
