Full-time Regular Farmington Hills, MI, US

• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare timely entries to general ledger accounts.
• Plays a key supporting role for the month-end close process in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Prepares monthly account reconciliations and analyzes general ledger accounts.
• Compiles and prepares forecasts and budgets for subject expert areas.
• Investigates and prepares explanations of account variances.
• Ensures compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company accounting policies and procedures.
• Maintains safety, security, and privacy standards throughout all areas of responsibility.

• Knowledge of accounting functions and principles.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including but not limited to:
  Word, PowerPoint, Excel (i.e. VLookup and pivot tables), and Outlook.

• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to problem solve and implement process improvements independently.
• Ability to perform accounting technical research on expert subject areas.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Master's degree in Accounting/Finance and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or 2+ years of public accounting experience.
