Construction Project Coordinator
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Construction Project Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting construction projects through efficient coordination, accurate documentation, and proactive management. You will work directly with project management and accounting teams and have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects, ensuring clear communication across teams and maintaining strict adherence to timelines and budgets.
Responsibilities- Coordinate construction projects ensuring efficient workflow and communication between project managers, contractors, and vendors.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and oversee document control processes.
- Support administrative functions, including change orders and billing.
- Ensure projects adhere to timelines and budgets through proactive management.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams, clients, and vendors.
- Minimum of 2 years in an administrator role, preferably in construction.
- High proficiency in cloud-based software tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating between teams, clients, and vendors.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction management.
- Relevant education in Construction Management or related field.
- Experience with construction management software such as Jonas Premier and Auto Desk.
- AIA and prior billing experience.
This position is based in an office environment with working hours from 8 am to 5 pm, with potential flexibility depending on the candidate. The role involves collaboration in a team setting, interacting with project managers and contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmington Hills, MI.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00/hr.
