Job Summary

The primary contact for Heavy Duty (HD) Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Service Operations accounts, responsible for maintaining high customer satisfaction and increasing unit volume at the customer level. This role interacts with Marketing, Pricing, Purchasing, Materials Planning, Engineering, and Sales across all organizational levels.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact in an HD OEM customer environment, requiring knowledge across engineering, pricing, purchasing, materials planning, marketing, and warranty for suspension systems.
  • Act as a customer advocate to ensure timely execution of actions and communicate results to internal and external teams.
  • Develop strategies to increase sales, targeting discretionary purchases and new markets for OEM and service channels.
  • Analyze competitor strengths and weaknesses and communicate findings to marketing and sales groups.
  • Access and share all relevant customer suspension system programs and promotions with applicable teams.
  • Represent the company in production discussions to minimize miscommunication and maximize coordination.
  • Lead efforts within OEMs to gather sales data that measures the effectiveness of the sales organization.
  • Maintain and update files for designated accounts.
  • Gather and analyze competitive information to assess relative positioning for subsequent actions.
  • Provide consultative resources to OEM service marketing/sales teams by developing tailored marketing programs and promotions.
  • Consult customers on aftermarket strategies leveraging Gabriel’s experience.

Education / Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field.
  • Experience working with major HD OEM organizations such as Navistar, Hendrickson, SAF Holland, etc.
  • Experience with OEM and aftermarket customers.
  • 1–3 years of experience in heavy‑duty products (preferably).
  • Effective negotiation skills.
  • Proven organizational abilities to interact, develop, maintain, and follow through on responsibilities.
  • Strong product and technical knowledge.
  • Proficiency with SAP, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
