Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for patient care and oral health, combined with comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures and hygiene practices. We have a wonderful and dedicated staff with great patients. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque, tartar, and stains. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, and current oral health status. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dietary habits, and preventive care strategies. Take dental radiographs (digital) while adhering to safety protocols. Prepare treatment rooms with appropriate instruments and materials using aseptic techniques to ensure infection control.

Collaborate with dentists during examinations and procedures through chairside assisting if necessary. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure adherence to all infection control protocols, including sterilization procedures and OSHA standards.
