Requirements- 3-20+ years of experience in design and analysis of structural systems
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
- Proficient with building codes such as IBC, AISC, ACI, and ASCE
- Software experience with any of the following: STAAD, RISA, ANSYS, SAP 2000, RAM products, intercalc, Mathcad
- Experienced designer structure or equipment subject to dynamic loading, blast loading, and UFC codes
- Project Management Experience
- Experience mentoring or managing a team
- PE License
We are seeking a Structural Engineer with strong expertise in steel structures to join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team. This role focuses on the design, development, construction, and operation of highly specialized research and testing facilities, including wind tunnels, rocket test stands, jet engine test cells, acoustic chambers, climatic chambers, altitude test facilities, and nuclear facilities. Projects span diverse markets such as automotive, motorsports, defense, nuclear, and aerospace, serving leading clients like NASA, U.S. Air Force, Audi, Boeing, BMW, Ford, and General Motors.
You will work on unique, complex designs, often managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The position requires delivering innovative structural solutions that meet scope, budget, and schedule, ensuring client satisfaction and compliance with industry standards.
